Welcome to the super learning of room 20.
On July the 4th Maori language week began.
We had an amazing assembly Monday morning to celebrate the beginning of Maori language week.
the school had Herb come and talk to us about how the taiaha was used and listened to a Maori legend relating to the taiaha. We then got a demonstration on how the taiaha is used!

In class our girls were practising with the poi while our boys were outside as young warriors learning the taiaha movements!
