I saw my face reflecting on the glistening , beautiful aqua coloured water .
I saw the relaxing shiny, sparkly ,freezing, icy water, frightening and scaring me.
I heard girls giggling and chatter, chat, chatter, chat and splashing their feet.
I heard screaming, shouting and birds chirping. I heard Miss Thomas saying "do you want a photo"?
I felt excited to go for a swim. I was shivering and shaking and quivering.
I felt glad that we were going to the pools, I was so exhausted!
I wondered if I could have a mermaid tail.
I wondered if someone was swimming like a dog.

Our ladders of Life

Room 20 have thought about what their goals will be through their school life. They are climbing their ladders and reaching their goals, step by step, to help their dreams come true.

We love this song and it describes Our Ladders of Life.

Ma te mahi ka ora
We've set our goals
and we're on our way.
Ma te mahi ka ora
Step by step, mile by mile
For dreams to come true
it's up to you
Let's start right here
and now.

What makes a super learner?

Room 20 have been discussing what makes a super learner. To help each other get ideas, we worked in groups and brainstormed what makes a super learner?

From our brainstorm we chose 3 important keys to learning.
  • Come to school every day
  • Always trying our best
  • To be focused

Room 20 have decided that we are all super learners with a special learning power.
Look at these awesome super learners!
